Welcome to Haiden Hall Creates!
Hi folks, thanks for being here! My name is Haiden E. Hall, and I am a multimedia artist based in Louisville, KY. Art has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve held a paintbrush since I was two years old (I recently found photo evidence of this, courtesy of my grandfather), and I never put it down.

While art has always been an essential part of my identity, the extent of its role in my life has evolved and flowed over the years.
After graduating high school, I received the Potter College Creative Arts Scholarship for Art & Design at Western Kentucky University (WKU) to pursue a degree in Fine Arts.
However, I took an Intro to Microeconomics course by chance, and thanks to the amazing teaching from WKU’s Dr. Jacob Byl, a new passion ignited. Shortly after, I chose to switch my major to Business Economics, focusing on development and sustainability within my newfound path in the business school.
I graduated from WKU in 2021 with a B.S. in Business Economics and worked in the corporate finance sector for three years before pivoting back to art this year. My choice to return to the craft that I once felt I had abandoned was less a voluntary decision and more an action of necessity. I began painting with fervor again this summer to cope with my experiences with chronic health issues.

In the midst of painting a self-portrait titled Relief., I realized that art’s role in my life was once again about to change, becoming a cornerstone of self-expression and self-compassion. While this particular painting is still a work in progress (intentionally), I completed tens of paintings in the days and weeks that followed.
Since then, I have committed to pursuing my craft as a full-time endeavor. Waking up in the middle of the night with ideas for paintings that mean something, not just to me but to anyone who views them, brings me such joy. Experimenting with new mediums and toying with impactful concepts in my work is a means of catharsis.
I am so excited to see where this period of exploration in my art takes me. Thank you for coming along for the journey!
